Michelle is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She has been practicing Orthopedics for more than 6 years. She received her Bachelors in Science (Pre-Med) in 2004 from Furman University in Greenville, SC. During college she was a Division 1 Volleyball player as well. After graduating, she continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. There she completed her Masters in Science of Physician Assistant Studies.

She worked in south Florida with an Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Center for years prior to relocating to Northern Virginia to be closer to family.

She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants (VAPA), and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS).
